Diamond Router Bits Z3 for Composites, Corian® and HPL

Description

️ Three-edge diamond router bit (Z3)
️ Versions: positive-negative-straight and a version with 0° axial angle
️ Polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tips, insert height H3.0–3.5
️ Body made from DENSIMET® or steel, depending on the version
️ Drilling version available in 16 mm diameter
️ Shank accuracy class H6, surface roughness Ra ≤0.3 μm
️ Can be resharpened up to 3–4 times
️ Feed 4–9 m/min
️ RPM 16,000–20,000

Technical details

For cutting and grooving in glass and carbon fibre, fibre cement board, aluminium, Corian® and HPL. Intended for use on CNC machines.

Materials

Advantages

️ The series has two geometry types: positive-negative-straight with a DENSIMET® body (12 mm) and a 0° axial angle with a steel body (12 and 16 mm).
️ The 16 mm version has a drilling tip, allowing machining to start by plunging into the material, without leading in from the edge.
️ Other diamond bits for composites: DT1 – Z1 downcut, 6 mm, DT5 – Z5+1 with 0° axial angle, 20 mm, DTR – Z4+1 positive-negative with chipbreaker, 12 mm.
️ The scope of machining covers cutting and grooving.
